Annie Garofalo strives to make people and organizations better. She leverages her expertise to smooth the bumpy road of entrepreneurs by supporting the relationship development of founders and teams across the life cycle of a company. To do this effectively, she draws directly from her professional experience as a growth strategy consultant (Innosight) and former founder (My Merkata) and her academic background in neurobiology (BA Harvard '15), organizational behavior and coaching (Stanford MBA '21, MA Sociology '22).  

 

At Stanford, Annie has built and supported portfolio operations functions for two of the school's affiliated venture funds, the MBA Fund (cross-school investment vehicle) and the GSB Impact Fund. These functions support entrepreneurs through strategic projects, community development, and co-founder relationship coaching. She also has worked closely with the founders of Skylyte, a team-resiliency building company, to support operations and growth as a team coach and strategic consultant.

 

Annie spends her free time volunteering as a People Operations Lead for the Stanford Women on Boards Executive Committee, as well as designing and renovating her COVID purchase, a tiny home on wheels.
